Everyone wants to end up with a happy family, a thriving business, and great kids. I make sure they do.
I've devoted my life to helping nearly 200 successful families in 30+ countries by applying:
1. My experience as an entrepreneur, investor, and board member, including IP communications networks in Brazil, nearly $300M in real-estate developments in Central America, $15M in economic-development philanthropy, and 3 years as Santa Claus's boss,
2. My background as a Gen3 member of a business family from Guatemala who sold the leading Central American supermarket chain to Walmart and a regional bank to Citibank,
3. 20+ years of experience in family-business consulting to nearly 200 families in 30+ countries, including global awards for career contributions to the field as one of the few consultants globally to invent new frameworks and tools, and
4. A lifetime of reading, research, and infinite curiosity about everything. I'm an obsessive learner, which is why I'm also a pilot, photographer, chess player, technologist, and (very slow) triathlete.
I live in New York and Guatemala with my better half, Daniela and our dog, Beto. We have two wonderful children, Anya and Rodolfo Daniel. I'm writing my first book and trying to get back in shape... not sure which one is harder.
