Niquette Hunt is a healthcare entrepreneur, board director, and strategic advisor who has spent her career building and scaling companies through critical inflection points, from early development and financing through regulatory approval and commercialization.
She is the Founder and former CEO of Candesant Biomedical, where she led the development of the Brella® SweatControl Patch from concept through FDA De Novo clearance and commercial launch. Prior to Candesant, she served as SVP of Commercial Development at Revance Therapeutics, where she helped shape the company’s early corporate and commercial strategy, contributed to its IPO and follow-on financings, and helped position multiple differentiated products in aesthetics and therapeutics.
Across her career, Niquette has worked at the intersection of science, strategy, and execution, raising more than $300 million in capital, building teams, guiding corporate strategy, and helping companies translate innovation into viable businesses. Her experience spans biotech, medtech, consumer health across multiple therapeutic categories including: dermatology, obesity, diabetes, ophthalmology, and regenerative aesthetics.
Currently, through McLean Hunt Strategic Advisory, she advises founders and investors on company building, financing readiness, positioning, clinical-commercial alignment, and growth strategy for life science companies navigating pivotal moments.
Both an entrepreneur and operator, Niquette is energized by building, mentoring, and helping companies navigate the messy but exciting stretch between promising ideas and real-world impact. She enjoys working with founders and leadership teams at moments when the stakes are high, the path forward is not always obvious, and thoughtful strategy and execution can meaningfully change outcomes
